MOBILE SOLUTIONS - USSD-SGateway
PThe Unstructured
Supplementary Service Data (USSD) is a UMTS/GSM Service that allows interactive
communication between subscribers and application across a UMTS/GSM network.
It is primary used on real-time and instant messaging type phone services
because there is no store-andforward of messages typical of the short message
services (SMS).
The response time of a USSD request is measured between 100 and 200ms compared
to the 5-10 seconds of SMS. The functionalities of USSD make it ideal for
information queries like available balance, content downloading and any
information services.
Product description
USSD S-Gateway is a carrier-grade subsystem to integrate with many USSD
applications and at the same time reduces cost and maintenance of multiple
information systems.
Its XML/TCP/IP and provided Java and C++ client libraries reduces the time
of development and lets you concentrate on the service itself, not on the
protocols.
The AES-256bit/RSA-4096bit channel encryption, a unique feature, makes the
USSD S-Gateways secure and ideal for banking and billing applications.

CellBroadcaster
The success of marketing campaigns is generally due to the acceleration
of the purchase decision, provoking consumer's compulsive behavior.
New technologies are able to do so by targeting around the physical place
where the point of sale is located, minimizing the time between the advertising
stimuli and the purchase decision.
Product description
CellBroadcaster is able to send a text or binary message to all mobile terminals
connected to a single or a set of cells.
The easy-to-use ajax/web interface enables an intuitive and fast selection
of the geographical area where the message is going to be delivered.
Multiple selection patterns and options allow fine grained location based
marketing campaigns.
While every single SMS is traced, the subscriber location and other info
can be stored and re-used for future campaigns.
How it works?
The Short Message Service (SMS) is a UMTS/GSM Service that allows the communication
between applications and subscribers. UMTS/GSM Networks are based on cells
to connect the mobile terminals.
The geographical area where the messages are delivered can be determined
by the selection of a set of cells.
Location based marketing campaigns are greatly enhanced by targeting exclusively
the subscriber who is physically near the advertiser's point of sale or
interest (hot spot). Also Location based alarms and notifications increase
the opportunity of catching the target attention.
Benefits
| High Target Segmentation. |
Reduces Spam. |
| SMS delivery delay avoided. |
Selection from small areas to entire cities. |
Features
| UMTS/GSM Network Support. |
High Performance (+1000sms/sec). |
| 128 LSL, 4 HSL/ATM or HDLC. |
Sigtran Support (100Mbit/1Gbit) |
| Ajax based Web Intarface. |
Admin and O&M Web Interface. |
| SNMP v1 and v2 Traps. |
Up to 4x redundancy. |
| Linux and Solaris Support. |
SMPP-MTGateway
The Short Message Service (SMS) is a UMTS/GSM Service
that allows interactive communication between subscribers and application
across a UMTS/GSM network.
The Short Message Peer-to-Peer protocol (SMPP) is a telecommunications
industry protocol for exchanging SMS messages between SMS peer entities
over a TCP/IP network.
SMPP-MT-Gateway is a protocol converter that allows a high speed mobile
terminated traffic to be successfully delivered without using SMSC resources. It
acts as a gateway between multiple SMPP entities (ESMEs) and the UMTS/GSM
network.
Product description
SMPP-MT-Gateway reduces operational costs and increases the speed and
delivery of services normally provided through the SMSC like OTA, VoiceMail
SMS notifications, Web2SMS, SMSBroadcast and other VAS applications.
Its SMPP version v3.4 and v5.0 compatible interface permits a effortless
and progressive migration of the traffic from the SMSC to the Gateway. All
the connections and their traffic is validated by the source IP, port
and specific type of traffic like binary, text to secure the UMTS/GSM
network.
Benefits
| More SMS MT Traffic capabilities. |
Reliability/Redundancy. |
| Security of MT Traffic. |
SMS delivery delay avoided. |
| Increased ARPU by offering more SMPP connections. |
Reduces SMSC loading freeing up resources. |
| Fast an Easy deploy and maintenance. |
SMSC Forward for failed Deliveries. |
Features
| UMTS/GSM Network Support. |
High Performance (+1000sms/sec). |
| 128 LSL, 4 HSL/ATM or HDLC. |
Sigtran Support (100Mbit/1Gbit). |
| Up to 64 USSD Applications(short codes). |
O&M Web Interface. |

Subscriber Information
Gateway
Value Added Services can be enhanced based on real time
subscriber information.
Information like the subscriber location, status and the phones's IMEI,
is available through the Mobile Operator UMTS/GSM HLRs.
Product description
Subscriber Information Gateway enables any external application to access
subscriber's location, status and IMEI on real time based on HTTP and
XML interfaces.
Provided with Cells Global Positioning info (optional), the Subscriber
Information Gateway is able to reveal the subscribers global position
at any time.
How it Works?
The subscriber location, status and IMEI, among other information, are
stored on the UMTS/GSM entities and can be requested based on the 3GPP
MAP 29.02 specification to the network HLR.
The location information includes Mobile Country Code, Mobile Network
Code, Location Area Code and Cell Identity. Status Information is defined
as idle or busy.
Benefits
| Enables custom application to access subscriber information
on real time |
Reliability/Redundancy. |
| Security of the information |
Centralizes the access of multiple applications |
| Fast and Easy deploy and maintenance |
Features
| UMTS/GSM Network Support. |
High Performance (+1000sms/sec). |
| 128 LSL, 4 HSL/ATM or HDLC. |

IVAS Gateway
The growth of Value Added Services offered by Operators
to Subscribers generates an exponential increase on applications and connections
inside of the Operator network.
The only way to create more advanced and diversified services without
losing control of the networks is integration of multiple services into
simpler solutions
The Integrated Value Added Services (iVas) Gateway represents a new concept
of integration on USSD, LBS and SMS services into a single, high performance
module.
Product description
The iVas Gateway is a carrier-grade system that integrates multiple USSD,
LBS (Location Based Services) and SMS applications, reducing at the same
time the cost of multiple information systems maintenance.
The standard Java and C/C++ APIs, SMPP and XML ports, reduces the time
of development and lets you concentrate on the service itself, not on
the protocols.
Its SMPP version 3.4 and 5.0 compatible interface allows an effortless
and progressive migration of traffic. All the connections for USSD, SMS
and LBS are validated by the source IP, port and traffic characteristics,
securing the UMTS/GSM network.
