DEEP CONTENT SECURITY SOLUTIONS FROM MICRODASYS

Enterprises increasingly lose control over their networks because technologies such as SSL encryption and XML based Webservices cannot be inspected by Firewalls, Antivirus Gateways and Intrusion Detection Systems.

100 % TRAFFIC INSPECTION & ZERO-GAP POLICY ENFORCEMENT.

Government Agencies, Fortune 1000 enterprises and businesses across all industries and around the world have deployed Microdasys software to regain control over their networks. All security policies can be enforced across all protocols and all webtraffic is inspected, not just plain http.

SCIP
Features and Benefits

SCIP Encrypted Content Security software enables you to secure your network from attack by encrypted web traffic. SCIP lets you set, and automatically apply, security policies to all encrypted inbound and outbound Internet traffic. The data is decrypted, forwarded to your content scanner for inspection, then re-encrypted and sent to its destination. All digital certificates are checked for validity (common name, expiration date, revocation status, valid issuer CA). SCIP catches bogus, self-signed and revoked certificates, a common indicator of untrustworthy encrypted webtraffic. All security policies that apply to standard http traffic, now also apply to SSL encrypted traffic.

Disposition Report

Unlike simple "SSL bridging" or a "reverse proxy" that cannot protect your internal network from encrypted attacks, SCIP is defending you from the inside.
Trojans, Viruses, Spyware, Digital Contraband such as copyrighted material and confidential files, and inappropriate content can be transported in and out of your network if you do not monitor and inspect SSL connections.

SCIP - HOW DOES IT WORK?

  • SCIP seamlessly integrates into your existing security infrastructure.
  • Setup in Proxy or ICAP mode
  • Installs local Enterprise Validation Authority for digital certificates.
  • Create and manage any number of SCIP servers through webbased management console.
  • Can co-reside with Content Scanner on the same machine(s).
  • SCIP works with all Proxy Content Scanners

SCIP APPLIANCE

MDS-422 APPLIANCE
The MDS-422 provides all features of SCIP, pre-installed and ready to run on a high performance, purpose-built and secure platform. The hardened, linux-based DOMOS operating system and SDR Secure Desaster Recovery, provide security and safe operation.
PLUG AND PLAY FOR SMB AND DEPARTMENTAL INSTALLATIONS Designed for ease of installation, the MDS-422 supports up to 1000 clients on a single system.

SDR - SECURE DESASTER RECOVERY

SDR features a built-in Compact Flash Card, containing its own Operating System" DOMOS SDR", which can be started during the booting procedure of the Appliance. Should the system image get destroyed, the Secure Disaster Recovery technology provides the fastest possible system recovery (up to 20 mintues for the complete Recovery Image). SDR-DOMOS is never mounted during normal operation, thus it is shielded from being corrupted during standard operations.

XMLRAY

Features and Benefits

Experts agree that Webservices (XML, SOAP) have already reopened 70% of the attack paths against internet connected systems, that were closed by network firewalls in the 1990s.
Webservices are specifically designed to tunnel through firewalls, using the HTTP or HTTPS protocol. Webservices are beyond the control of the security administrator and cannot be inspected by content security scanners. All data attached to a Webservice is encapsulated within the XML request/response and is out of the reach of traditional content inspection.
Virtually every software application is Webservices enabled, - plus thousands of "free" webservices such as chat, webmail and file exchange -, and you may very well be using Webservices without being aware.
XmlRAY inspects all inbound and outbound XML traffic, according to the policies set by the security administrator. The policies are based on the sender, recipient, attached data type, keyword search, request methods and other criteria. All actions are centrally logged and data attachments, i.e. executables, are forwarded to the appropriate content security devices such as AntiVirus, or an authentication proxy. If the XML request and the data attachements conform with the security policies, the request and data are sent to their destination

XmlRAY - HOW DOES IT WORK?
  • Easy integration and setup with ICAP interface.
  • XmlRAY acts as both, an ICAP client and an ICAP server.
  • Integrates with any content scanner and security appliance that supports the ICAP interface.
  • Integrates with SCIP for the inspection of encrypted XML content, both products are then managed from one and the same webbased console.
